My 20-year-old daughter, Rachael, is an absolute joy. However, it can be challenging to manage all her needs, especially as a single parent. She suffered a stroke as an infant and is dependent for all care. During her stay at A Rosie Place for Children, I get the rare opportunity to spend time with friends, have one-on-one time with my son, and get some much-needed alone time. Unless you live with a medically fragile child, you cannot fully understand it. However, A Rosie Place does an incredible job of understanding and anticipating our family’s needs.
I am so thankful, and the impact they have made to our lives is beyond measure.
