At A Rosie Place for Children, we are continually uplifted by partners who share our commitment to creating a world of “YES” for medically fragile children. This month, we were grateful to welcome Aaron Clow, founder of Beds by George, back into our home. During his visit, Aaron personally repaired several of our specialized beds, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and welcoming for the children we serve.

Aaron’s work goes far beyond skilled craftsmanship. Instead, it is heart work. It is family work. Most importantly, it reflects the passion of a father who wanted his daughter to experience safety, dignity, and independence. Because of that love, children today have the chance to rest securely, grow confidently, and feel truly at home.

Aaron’s original inspiration continues to guide Beds by George today. As shared on the Beds by George website, “I wanted a bed that looked like it belonged in a little girl’s room… not a hospital bed,” and we agree, full-heartedly, with Aaron that, “families whose special need son or daughter just need a little extra security in a bed should be able to be safe AND to get themselves into and out of a bed that looks like it belongs in a home, not an institution.” These beds are used daily in our home, providing comfort, stability, and peace of mind for children who rely on thoughtful, adaptive support.
