In January 2011, A Rosie Place for Children opened its doors, and with it, opened a world of YES for families navigating life with medically fragile children. Now, as we celebrate 15 years of firsts, we reflect on one of the most meaningful moments in our journey: our very first Rosie sleepover. That first overnight stay marked the beginning of something extraordinary: an environment where children are surrounded by love, expert pediatric nursing care, and FUN. While children experienced their first sleepover with friends, families were given the gift of rest and reassurance.

From that first night to thousands of overnight stays since, A Rosie Place remains a place where parents can rest, siblings can feel seen, and every child is embraced with compassion and excellence.
